Ice Shops
Background:
Ice Shops started out as a high street shop in Brighton before deciding that they wanted to broaden their horizons and compete in the online market.
The company specialises in women's clothes and boasts an impressive collection of designs from some of the worlds leading designers.
Their decision to attack the online market has proven to be extremely successful with sales and visitors increasing month and month.

The Challenge:
With the site only a couple of weeks old we were challenged to generate immediate sales and visitors via both Google Adwords and search engine optimisation.
The company already had an established customer base with their high street store but we would have to build a brand new online fan base if the website was going to become successful.
In addition, as the website was a new venture Ice Shops didn't have a massive amount of finances to fund the project, especially from a pay-per-click perspective on Google Adwords. This meant that we had to use our PPC skills to the maximum in order to generate the number of sales that the company hoped for.
The Strategy:
Immediately our optimisation team set out to give the site a total SEO overhaul, whilst our PPC management team got to work on the Google Adwords campaigns.
We decided that the best use of the PPC budget would be spent targeting the brands and designers that the company supplied. This ensured that all visitors entering the website were actively seeking clothing from these particular brands, which helped to boost sales figures almost immediately.
As the months passed sales figures continued to rise, which led to the company having more finances available to put towards their Adword campaigns. Again, the budget was spent wisely by targeting additional brands but also focusing on more generic terms related to women's clothing.
The Results:
In December 2008 the site had received a respectable 2,962 visitors. However, in May 2009 this figure had almost trebled to 7,281.
More importantly sales figures had also received a massive increase, jumping from 92 in December 2008 to 166 in May 2009. This works out at an average of just over 5 sales per day, which is impressive for a site that is still only half a year old.
Sales figures are continuing to rise through effective PPC campaign management and website optimisation and we don't expect this to end any time soon.
